MAPK_pT_only_PO4_factor = 3

Definition

This is the factor by which phosphorylation of Fus3 or Kss1 on just the threonine decreases its kinase activity, compared to the activity of doubly phosphorylated Fus3 or Kss1 for that same target.
kcat_MAPKpT_target_PO4 = kcat_MAPKpTpY_target_PO4 / MAPK_pT_only_PO4_factor
MAPK_pT_only_PO4_factor > 1 means that MAPKpT phosphorylates its targets more slowly than MAPKpTpY.

• Experimentally measured for ERK2, MAPK_pT_only_PO4_factor < MAPK_pY_only_PO4_factor. Since only MAPK_pY_only_PO4_factor ( = 5) was measured for Fus3, we chose MAPK_pT_only_PO4_factor to be greater than than this value.
